Flooring removal
Coordinate demolition, debris removal, protection of adjacent finishes, and preparation for the new installation.

Houston tile, stone + custom carpentry
Tile and stone floors, tub and shower surrounds, stone countertops, backsplashes, and custom carpentry for Houston homes and businesses, coordinated as one clear scope.

01 / The work
We plan around substrate and wall conditions, wet-area waterproofing, slab templating, material layout, transitions, adjoining cabinetry, and finish carpentry. That keeps the visible details and concealed requirements working together.
02 / Scope
Every proposal is built around the actual conditions, access, selections, and closeout requirements of your project.
Coordinate demolition, debris removal, protection of adjacent finishes, and preparation for the new installation.
Evaluate visible substrate conditions and define the leveling, patching, repair, or underlayment needed for the selected finish.
Install selected tile or stone with a confirmed pattern, layout, grout, transitions, perimeter details, and finished elevations.
Build tile or stone tub and shower surrounds as complete wet-area assemblies, including backing, waterproofing, niches, benches, trim, and fixture interfaces.
Coordinate field templating, slab layout, edge profiles, seams, sink and appliance cutouts, supports, fabrication, delivery, and installation.
Plan focal layouts, edges, outlets, transitions, and pattern alignment for kitchens and other detailed areas.
Coordinate built-ins, vanities, shelving, trim packages, wall panels, cabinet modifications, and other measured finish-carpentry work.
Coordinate selected plank or wood-look flooring systems when they fit the project, substrate, and occupancy requirements.

04 / Process
Send photos, measurements if available, the project address or ZIP, material ideas, drawings, and your desired timing.
We review existing finishes, substrate and wall conditions, wet areas, cabinetry, access, transitions, and occupied-space constraints.
Tile or stone, pattern, grout, slab, edge, trim, carpentry details, preparation, exclusions, and allowances are documented before scheduling.
Demolition, waterproofing or surface preparation, templating, fabrication, layout, installation, curing, protection, and cleanup follow the agreed sequence.
We review the completed installation, punch-list items, care guidance, and applicable warranty information.
05 / Common questions
Yes, when included in the proposal. The scope will identify removal, disposal, surface preparation, and any known exclusions before work begins.
We evaluate visible conditions and identify the preparation required for the selected flooring. Concealed or unexpected conditions are documented and priced before additional work proceeds.
Yes. The written scope can include demolition, backing, waterproofing, tub or shower interfaces, tile or stone layout, niches, benches, trim, grout, sealant, fixtures, glass coordination, and closeout.
Yes, when included in the proposal. We coordinate field measurements, slab and edge selections, seams, cutouts, required supports, fabrication, delivery, setting, and final fit.
The scope can include built-ins, vanities, shelving, cabinet modifications, trim and molding, wall panels, and other project-specific finish carpentry. Send photos, dimensions, or inspiration images so we can define the work.
Yes, when the material is suitable for the application and the delivery, waste factor, lot or slab consistency, accessories, and warranty responsibilities are clearly assigned in the proposal.
Tile and grout are not the complete waterproofing system. In showers and other wet areas, the specified backing, membrane, penetrations, and drainage details must work together as an assembly.
Timing depends on demolition, substrate or wall conditions, wet-area preparation, slab templating and fabrication, material and pattern, carpentry complexity, curing requirements, access, and project size. We establish the sequence after site review and material confirmation.
